Opening in 1929, the Rodin Museum is a defining icon of Philadelphia, a stunning setting to explore one of the most comprehensive public collections of Auguste Rodin’s work outside Paris.
This vast collection is the legacy of Philadelphia philanthropist, Jules E. Mastbaum, who had amassed over two hundred sculptures along with a small group of marbles and plasters, and hundreds of drawings. Wanting to share his great collection with others, Mastbaum commissioned French architects Jacques Gréber and Paul Cret to design an impressive yet intimate Beaux-Arts–style building on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway that blends seamlessly with a garden to create a museum experience that merges art and nature.
Your gift will join the generous contributions made by individuals over the last century to preserve and grow the Rodin Museum collection and maintain the serene garden.
Gifts of all sizes make a difference and are fully tax-deductible.
